You cross plains and valleys, you show mountains and you face the desert.
The Moroccan South is a region where men and women have preserved a way of life and a culture marked by nomadic habits.
You will discover buildings and ruins of ancient times, verdant paradises, and water in the middle of the desert.
You meet authentic people, and you enjoy landscapes of all beauties, which will mark you for life.
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou
The departure is at 9am in the direction of the village of Ait Ben Haddou. Its kasbah is one of the most beautiful of the South of Morocco, the most authentic and the best preserved of all the region of the Atlas. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will take the trip to the High Atlas through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260 m).
Once you arrive at your accommodation, you can rest before visiting the site and discover all its beauty.
In the evening a typical dinner of the region will be served to you.
Day 2: Ait Ben Haddou - Agdz - Zagora
After breakfast, you will drive the thousand Kasbahs towards Zagora. You will discover the Kasbah of Tifoultoute, having belonged to the Pacha family of Marrakech Thami El Glaoui, and where legendary scenes of the film Lawrence of Arabia have been filmed.
You will pass through the small village of Aït Saoun, the town of Agdz, and the kasbah of Tinzouline.
You will finally arrive in Zagora, where you can enjoy a ride on camel and a beautiful sunset between the desert dunes.
In the evening, your dinner will be served at your accommodation.
Day 3: Zagora - Alnif - Merzouga
After breakfast, take the road towards Erfoud via Taghbalt, Tazzarine, Alnif, and Rissani.
You will spend the night in a camp, in a tent and enjoy the life of the nomads of the Sahara
Day 4: Merzouga - Boumalne Dades.
Wake up early in the morning. You will go on camel back to the dunes of Erg Chebbi (250 m). You will then witness a beautiful sunrise between the waves of sand.
You return to the camp to have a Moroccan breakfast, then it will be the departure for the small town of Boumalne Dades, at the foot of the valley of the Dades, at the edge of the valleys of roses and Todra.
You will discover the valley of Dades, Tinghir and the Gorges of Todgha, high limestone cliffs dug by the wadi Todra for millennia.
In the evening, you will dine at Boumalne Dades.
Day 5: Boumalne Dades - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, you will take the road to Ouarzazate.
You will discover Kalaa M'gouna, the beautiful valley of the roses. You will see many villages and ancient fortresses on the road of the thousand Kasbahs and you will enjoy the charm of the palm grove of Skoura.
Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, it will be time to have lunch before exploring the city, its authentic souk and its famous Taourirt Kasbah, a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
You can also visit the Cla and Atlas Corporation studios and discover some sets that have been used to shoot Hollywood movies.
You will dine and spend the night in Ouarzazate
Day 6: Ouarzazate - Marrakech
After so many memories and adventures, it will be time to return to Marrakech.
You will have breakfast, and enjoy a free time before taking the road.
You will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
