Not far from Marrakech, nestled between the Atlas mountains, the Ourika valley is appreciated to be a verdant place of relaxation and escape, where the Berber villages and houses in red earth, merge with the mountains.
In summer, it is coveted for the coolness of its temperate climate, contrasting with the heat of Marrakech and its plain of Haouz. Its abundant water flows along the streams and over the rocks.
You will leave in the morning in the direction of the Ourika valley. On the way, you can stop at any time to enjoy the scenery and take beautiful pictures.
You will discover typical Berber houses, and participate in a local tea ceremony (Berber Wiski).
You will also have the opportunity to visit a traditional women's cooperative that produces argan oil and handmade pottery where you can buy unique products and creations unique to this region.
At the end of the valley you will arrive at Setti-Fatma, a very attractive place of impressive beauty.
A local guide will take you along a trail to discover the region's famous waterfalls. This will be an opportunity to refresh yourself.
You can have lunch on site, by the river or on one of the terraces of the typical restaurants of the region.
Then take a nap under the soft sunlight or in the shade of a fruit tree.
You return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
